Foxcom PL7330R4 IF Fiber 70/140 MHz Optic Link

The Platinum IF products from Global Foxcom are designed to meet the growing demand for modularity and high performance in a compact format for superior long-distance transmissions. With high RF input power and a wide dynamic range, the link is developed to provide full specification service up to a complete optical budget of 4 dB with the receiver PL7330R4 and a 10 dB optical budget with the receiver PL7330R10. By utilizing Global Foxcom’s DigiRF technology, the user has full control over all key functions for setup, operation, and analysis via the front-panel LCD display or the corresponding sub-rack SNMP functionality. Additionally, the automated adjustable link calibration system IMizer enables the user to match the IMD/CNR of the RF links to specific linearity requirements without needing to perform a two-tone test. Select the desired IMD for the optical transmitter either locally or remotely, and IMizer automatically adjusts the laser driver to meet the IMD requirements. Each slim individual transmitter or receiver can be hot-swapped in the sub-rack chassis to ensure optimal system availability. Each module contains its own processor to maximize specification performance under demanding user applications at all times. The PL7330T transmitters and PL7330R4 / PL7330R10 receivers are designed for mounting in a sub-rack chassis. The associated Platinum chassis, model PL7010, features 12 active slots, one main control processor (MCP) slot, and two redundant power supplies. Even with full sub-rack load and complete LNB power supply, no fans are required.
