The Platinum PL7440DT DWDM wideband transmitter from Global Foxcom is designed to meet the increasing demand for superior long-distance transmission with high CNR. With high RF input power and a wide dynamic range, the transmitter offers full specification service with an optical budget of up to 32 dB when paired with the PL7220R25 receiver. By utilizing Foxcom's DigiRF technology, the user has full control over all key functions for setup, operation, and analysis either via the front LCD display or the associated subrack SNMP functionality.
Each slim individual transmitter or receiver can be hot-swapped in the subrack chassis to ensure optimal system availability. Each module contains its own processor to maximize specification performance under demanding user applications at all times.
The PL7440DT transmitter is a compatible device designed to be mounted in the Platinum chassis. The associated Platinum chassis, model PL7010, features 12 active slots, a main control processor (MCP) slot, and two redundant power supplies. Even under full subrack load and full LNB power supply, no fans are required.
