Jultec JOL0102-90A
The Jultec JOL0102-90A is an optical-to-coaxial converter designed to integrate satellite signals transmitted over fiber optics into broadband coaxial distribution systems. It is specially tailored for Jultec's a²CSS and a²CSS2 single-cable satellite systems.
Key Features
- Optical Input Compatibility: Supports optical signals from Global Invacom LNBs and is configurable for compatibility with Fracarro glass systems (Gen 2 version).
- Broadband Output: Provides wideband satellite signals per polarization, suitable for a²CSS and a²CSS2 converters.
- Automatic Gain Control (AGC): Maintains a stable output level of 88 dBµV, typically powering up to 40 units without additional amplification.
- Low Power Consumption: Operates at less than 1.7 W.
- Compact Size: Dimensions are 39.5 x 106.5 x 20 mm³ for easy integration.
- Compliance: CE certified according to EN 60728-2, Class A.

Important Notes
Compatibility: Due to its wideband output, the JOL0102-90A works exclusively with a²CSS or a²CSS2 single-cable converters and is not compatible with traditional multiswitch systems.
Signal Distribution: Its low minimum input level enables signal distribution to up to 64 converters from a single optical LNB, ideal for large-scale installations.
System Integration: The fiber optic signal can be split with passive optical splitters, and multiple satellite systems can be multiplexed on a single fiber via wavelength division multiplexing (WDM).
