The Jultec JAP100 is a specialized programming adapter (link protector) used in single-cable systems (Unicable / JESS) to protect user band settings at the wall outlets.
It is used to configure programmable antenna outlets (JAP series), a²CSS(2) single-cable converters, DiSEqC multiswitches, and other JULTEC devices.
The adapter establishes the connection between the USB port of a PC or notebook and the device to be configured.

User Band Protection: In multi-subscriber systems (e.g., apartment buildings), the JAP100 prevents a misconfigured receiver from interfering with the neighbor's channels.

Programming: It is used in conjunction with programming software and a corresponding converter to permanently set Jultec outlets (JAD series) to specific User IDs.

Plug-and-Play Protection: Once programmed, the outlet only allows commands for the assigned user band to pass through. All other control commands are blocked.
