• Integrated Protective Shutters (Laser & Dust Protection): The spring-loaded metal shutters of the E2000 connector open and close automatically during insertion. They reliably safeguard service personnel against hazardous laser radiation and protect the zirconia ferrule from contamination and damage.

• Excellent Signal Quality via 8° Angled Polish (APC): The precise APC polish guarantees extremely high return loss values (> 65 dB). This minimises signal reflections – ideal for high-bit-rate networks, WDM systems, and sensitive optical measurement setups.

• Full Breakout Design for Maximum Requirements: Each optical fiber runs within its own sub-cable (2.0 mm to 2.8 mm) reinforced with aramid yarn (Kevlar) for strain relief. This enables direct routing of the breakout legs inside server racks or patch panels without requiring additional fan-out kits.
