The Platinum 10 MHz card from Global Foxcom was developed to meet the increasing demand for modularity and high performance in a compact form factor for superior long-distance transmission. With high RF input power and wide dynamic range, the connection is designed to ensure full service operation up to an optical budget of 4 dB with the PL7130R4 receiver.
Thanks to Global Foxcom’s DigiRF technology, the user has full control over all key functions for setup, operation, and analysis via the LCD front panel or the SNMP capability of the associated sub-rack.
Each flat single transmitter or receiver can be “hot swapped” in the chassis, ensuring maximum system availability. Each module contains its own processor to maximize specification performance even under demanding user applications at all times.
The PL7130T1550 transmitter and the PL7130R4 receiver are designed for mounting in a sub-rack chassis. The corresponding Platinum chassis, model PL7010, has 12 active slots, a main control processor (MCP) slot, and two redundant power supplies. Fans are not required.
