Foxcom GL7930 L-Band–10MHz Satellite Transmit Link

Global Foxcom’s Sat-Light/Gold L-Band Interfacility Link offers a powerful, cost-effective alternative to conventional coaxial cable systems. The Sat-Light/Gold L-Band IFL covers the frequency range from 950 to 2200 MHz and can additionally transmit 10 MHz reference signals.

The GL7930 link is designed for a variety of satellite uplink (UL) installations where high input power levels in the L-Band and at 10 MHz are required. The Global Foxcom DFB laser with a high dynamic range delivers exceptional signal quality for the most demanding applications.

The link consists of an optical transmitter with high input power that receives the L-Band and 10 MHz signals from an L-Band modem, and an optical receiver connected to the antenna BUC that outputs both signals. All satellite modulation schemes—digital or analog—are supported. An inherently low phase shift is achieved by the direct modulation of the laser diode.
